Karen Meck has over 25 years of experience working with high net worth clientele specializing in tax planning and life insurance. She has served as a tax consultant for a variety of firms and has gained her experience working with individuals, financial institutions, law firms and accounting firms.
Karen provides experience in the areas of estate planning, wealth transfer, retirement planning and business continuation for both the private and public sectors. Karen’s tax planning background allows her to provide clients with a clear understanding of life insurance and how it may be utilized as liquidity for estate taxes, retirement income or part of an executive’s benefit plan.
Karen earned a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Millersville University. She is licensed in Life, Health, and Disability. Her professional memberships include the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and AALU (Association for Advanced Life Underwriting).
Karen is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Lancaster County. Karen has volunteered for the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster, S. June Smith Center and Brereton Manor.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband Todd and their three French Bulldogs, Cabernet, Buster, and Avalanche. She has a passion for competing in bodybuilding competitions and traveling to national parks.
