Amy serves as the Director of New Business and Underwriting at Newton One, where she oversees all aspects of life and disability underwriting, guiding cases from initial submission through policy placement. She is committed to delivering a seamless experience for clients and advisors by combining technical underwriting expertise with exceptional service and strong carrier relationships.
Since entering the insurance industry in 2017, Amy has built a diverse insurance background and holds licenses in Property, Casualty, and Life Insurance. Prior to joining Newton One, she worked as an agent with Liberty Mutual Insurance, helping individuals and families protect what matters most through auto, home, and life insurance.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Passionate about professional growth and staying at the forefront of the industry, she is committed to continuing education and is currently pursuing the prestigious Fellow, Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU) and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) professional designations. She is dedicated to advocating for clients throughout the underwriting process, navigating complex cases, and developing creative solutions that help individuals, families, and businesses secure the protection they need.
Amy resides in Cecil County, Maryland, where she enjoys spending time with her two sons and family. Whether she’s cheering from the sidelines at soccer and basketball games or supporting them at track and field events, she values every opportunity to be involved in their activities and celebrate their accomplishments.
